Meditation Experiences

Meditation is good for all

I am writing this message to share my appreciation of my positive impacts from my meditation practice. I had always believed that
meditation is good for all, no matter who you are or where you are from, but never known the great impact until I have started meditation since late 2019.
Before the practice, I found that life was not that easy in order to live happily. With family issues, unhealthy working environment and the effect of negativity from the other people, I felt so stressed and depressed. However, I had to find the solution and emotional support for myself to survive that hard time. Luckily, one of my friends in my former company recommended me one meditation page, namely Phnom Penh Meditation center. Few days after, I joint the its event, and I was fond of the technique and method of meditation. Since then, I decided to join a membership and started meditation.
Many days of practice passed, and I noticed the positive change of my mood. Working environment, family situation and people around me remain the same, but the way I have to react to those things and people are different. I am less angry, disappointed, devastated annoyed and depressed. On the other hand, now I feel calm and respond to situation effectively and efficiently. Moreover, insomnia used to hit me hard too since I was always over thinking, but now I find it easy to fall asleep quickly. Thank to meditation and helper, Madame Sunny Hwang. The more I meditate, the clearer I find myself, who deserve mindful peace from inside. The more I meditate, the more I focus on my goals.
Hence, because of those positive impacts mentioned above, I would recommend this meditation to you. It clears your mind effectively, and surely you will find your inner peace which nothing can take from you.

Especially I can have more focus on what I am doing

I am so happy to see you all here and hope everyone is ready to get good results from meditation.

My name is Thinearng. I’ve been meditating for a year with Sunny in Phnom Penh Meditation Center.

I am really grateful to the method of this meditation which really helps me deal with my daily busy life in my career that I travel a lot, meet a lot of different people, and face a lot of challenges.

I came across this meditation last year maybe on Facebook or something and I approach it. Later on my helper, Sunny sent me a message which really touch my heart. I decided to make an appointment with her at the center.

What I was first interested in this meditation is that I was told about the people living inside the pictures of my mind with feelings and emotion and the way I can clean the pictures from my mind. I tried the method for a month before a yearly member and it really helps me more understanding about the way of people live in daily life because of Karma which is our lived life, habits which is inherited from our ancestor, and mind of this body.

I diligently practice every day in the early morning and before bed and also practice during my work and in some of my hard situations which come to my mind. I can use the method to discard the pictures in my mind which are just false pictures with stress, pressure, worries, burden, fear, anger, demand.

I get more acceptance, more calm, not quick reaction, especially I can have more focus on what I am doing. So, I really encourage you all try this mediation and join us with open mind and patience in order to live truly happy. Thank you!

Find our true mind when we are alive. Together we can do it until the end.

Where am I? Where will I go after I die? Why I am not happy while I seem to have everything I need already?

Those are questions that I seriously asked myself after the death of people I love and unexpected events happening in my life.

I learned that life is very fragile and everything you dearly love do not stay with you forever as you have planned. I feel scared and worried but I don’t know what can I do to get out of my sadness and to be healthy again.

Fortunately, I decided to join this meditation and it really change my life.

First, I was told that we can clean our human mind that is blocking us from our true mind and we must eliminate our own false world so that we can find the true meaning of life. So I started to meditate diligently for 6 weeks and all I get from this meditation is so much more than I expected. I understand the root of my sadness, stress, and anxiety, and from one level to another level, I gained more and more power to discard those false images and negative mind and they cannot bother me anymore.

Everyday I get one step closer to the Truth and I’m so proud of it. I get to know more about myself and my bad habits that is the reason of all my unhappiness that must be truly thrown away. It is not long time that I do this meditation, but I can say that I’m changed to a new me who is more confident, more grateful, and I accept more than complain which makes my life much happier and my body much more healthy.

Thank you so much for this amazing methods and I hope we all don’t waste any more time because we don’t know how much time we really have, so start doing meditation now and find our true mind together when we are alive. Together we can do it until the end.

If I don’t start today, I couldn’t eliminate my human mind

Before deciding to meditate, I mixed up past, present, and future activities.

I couldn’t clear those false things until I left the jobs and lover with the living of regrets and guilty memories.

While I have joined meditation for 17 days,  I cleared those humans and activities for 34 years and control my emotions when those things happen again.

Even I know how to eliminate and control emotions, but I must study until the end since I must live.

Finding the truth mind is easy to say, but it is difficult to put into practice.

If I don’t start today, I couldn’t eliminate my human mind. I am grateful for these methods of throwing away me.

kindness and developed an appreciation for having all the things

For several years, I suffered from severe emotions. I was under pressure always. I am a very skeptical person, I am pretty sure all solution has in mediation, but many times I was trying to do it through YouTube but it was not workable due to my unstable mind.

But I never give up and tried to search good meditation way, one day I have found Phnom Penh meditation through the internet, I started using this Meditation and feel it is totally different than others.

In two months since I started doing meditation, I was able to gain mental peace, control, and focus. Doing meditation made me more mindful of the different things around me. I started paying attention to small acts of generosity, kindness and developed an appreciation for having all the things. I need to live a life with meaning and purpose.

My stress levels and anxiety reduced drastically and started viewing the world through a different lens – the lens of gratitude and forgiveness.

I believe meditation can help people navigate different struggles and make you happy, calm, and make you start loving life again.

My meditation story

Before I met this meditation:

I’m in a mess.

I’m a high pride person and I live in my imagination world (picture world including past and future). Which lead me became a person with no confidence.

I cannot stop thinking, worrying about things.

I cannot concentrate in thing I’m doing.

I get angry, upset, get down easily even little things.

I compared myself to others and doubt myself.

I judge, I complain about people.

My mind changes fast, seemed I have been controlled by the false.

I feel I have already dead while living, although I know it wasn’t me, the true me.

I have been living in this world for more than 20 years old yet I feel there’s a missing piece ( The Truth )  in life. That piece has been covered by illusion world (human’s mind, picture world).

Until I met this amazing meditation with an clear method guided by helper. @Sunny Hwang

I’m really thankful for this amazing method which’s founded by Teacher Woo Myung.

I have understood more about the true meaning of life, who I really am, the emptiness, the true happiness, the no human mind world, THE ONE, THE UNIVERSE.

At the beginning it’s hard for me to do this meditation caused my focus wasn’t working well, it’s many times I want to give up. My mind keep changing to this and that… Yet I’m appreciated my helper’s effort to never stop alerting me also all your kindness. Thanks you @Sunny Hwang.

It’s been 2 months I have done this meditation, and it’s really changing me. I’ll do this meditation until the end.

My anger volume’s keep decreasing.

Part of my mood swings are disappeared.

I can be more concentrate on thing I do.

I’m more calm and enjoyable.

Good thing takes time so be patient guys. I do recommend this amazing meditation to everyone.

Inner peace, inner power in my mind

Before doing this meditation I lived in the negative thinking. I always blamed myself and blamed my family “Why they don’t understand me?” It made me feel so disappointed and failed. I felt stressed and anxious, and I easily got upset or angry.

One day, I saw the seminar “How to live truly” at meetup.com and I joined this meditation. It’s great and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity.

After one month, now I feel better. I don’t think too much. I take it easy and focus on more the job. Specially I feel happy and be humble. I am so small in the universe. So why do I need to blame myself and the world? Just throw them away and find how to live truly.

Thanks to my helper who knows my problem. Thanks to the universe and all people whoever are good or bad.

A brand new concept to me

I have always been living with exclusively with anxiety since age 0! I have always wished liberty but had been taught to seek safety and stability instead. I could neither find safety, nor stability, so I had to learn to cope with my long lasting worries.

After too many years running the rat race all around the world, I ended living in Cambodia, where I started considering another way to find an answer to my problems.

I started doing this meditation, a brand new concept to me, throwing away all my remembered thoughts instead of piling up unproven doctrines over my existing worries. Even if I only reached the end of level 1 out of 7 to this day, I have begun to feel somehow relieved, despite being aware that much more is to be achieved.

This Meditation is Helpful

In the past, I was a depressed and a negative person. My perspective in life was very narrow. However, I have found this meditation is helpful that can cure my way of thinking, my mind to become broad. After level 1 throwing away my remembered thoughts, step by step I can see the differences between my past and my present. As a result, meditating made a big chance of the way. And made my body lighter than before, feel fresh and brighter than before. At last but not least, I have learnt that life is as good as your mindset. Thank you for this method.

I See the World is More Beautiful and Fresh

The changes that I have noticed after the meditation are: I start not to care so much about the people and the things around me, they can’t affect my feeling easily as before.

The negative mind has been reduce little by little, the way I see the world is more beautiful and fresh. I start to have courage to do the things that I want to achieve. I’m looking forward to see more positive results in the next levels. Thank you.

This meditation is? “simple and so powerful”

Before meditation, the life I have lived from the outside looked good. Perhaps to the eyes of the people around me I was happy and confident with family, school and work but I was very worried and always felt pressured within. I always had this need to please everyone and was obsessed about maintaining an image for a good person in front of others. I was always hiding behind my fake smiles and heavy make-up, covering myself up to be perfectly good. Through the meditation I realized that this was all because I was so worried about how the world saw me. I was so worried that I never wore white socks or bright colors because people could then see how dirty my feet were. I felt as if the world was judging me for every little thing about me. My insecurities always overwhelmed me that I was haunted with insomnia.
However, reflecting back at my life, the meditation has really helped me see that I was only living inside this bubble. I was stuck inside a place where I cared only about my self-centered views and comparing myself and wanted to become better with my own standards that I had made to myself. Now that I look back at myself, I was so ridiculous! Riddling myself with so many worries.
I have done the meditation from level 2 in Korea, so I have not yet met people that know of the old me. However, even the people here say that from the time I’ve been here that I look brighter. I see my own change too, my insomnia is gone and I dance around in whatever colored socks, without makeup. When I no longer rely on the opinion of others, I feel much stronger and free. The greatest gift the mediation has allowed me is to allow me to see that the world does not spin around me. I have been living only for myself. For me, the greatest part of this meditation is to see reality, the true world, outside of my bubble.

You start to see yourself, the way you are in all aspects of your life

The cool thing about this meditation method is that it has this ability to show you who you are from a much bigger perspective than yourself. It is really hard to see yourself as yourself, so the method has this way of showing yourself from a bigger perspective. Then you get to reflect on yourself on how you actually are and you see things in yourself. And I saw things in myself that I did not realize that I had before the method. I think that is one of the biggest strength of this meditation. Speaking from my own experience, I found it really hard to bring big changes within myself but this method has helped me get rid of my habits and useless negative thoughts.
I am definitely happier now and also just more relaxed. I feel better within myself and that is the best way to define happiness for me. Also, I am more focused. I mean I work with computers and it is important to have patience and really be able to focus throughout the day. I work with my head the whole day, thus it is so important to be able to be relaxed within myself. Not always trying to move, not always thinking about something else, just staying put; and the meditation has definitely helped me with that.
The meditation has also improved me as a husband and father. One problem that I think in many relationships I find is; you have this expectation of the other to give you something the whole time. You want to get something from that person. And I think the meditation has changed that perspective for me and my wife. It is now more about putting in the work yourself without underlying expectations for one another. Also, this meditation has changed the way I see my children. I seem them more as the way they are than I did before as a parent and as a father. There was a certain bias that came with the strong attachment that I had for my children. Getting rid of that, I think you start to see your family in a more realistic way. This is also good for the kids, because they feel that and they feel actually more relaxed around me.

The difference in my life … can be described with one word: Gratitude.

I don’t have any dramatic life story to tell. From the outside, my life looks quite ordinary. I grew up in a safe environment in a suburb in the outskirts of Stockholm. I had friends, a Nintendo video game and everything a kid could wish for. My family was not religious and relatively open-minded, so I was free to make my own life decisions. I graduated from university and got a job at an IT company and thought I would be happy but, in my mind, I was never truly happy. Every time I achieved something that I wanted, I just wanted something else, something more. I was constantly stuck in my thoughts with my wandering mind. I was always wondering, stuck in my own thoughts, asking myself why I had so many thoughts in my head. I tried so many different things to find an answer but everything I tried only gave me a temporary release.
Though very quickly I realized by doing this meditation that this thinking was about myself and the reason that I think so much and why I was so stressed was because I was caring only about myself. For me, I used to carry things that were unnecessary. I knew that ruminations were unnecessary and bad for me but I didn’t want to nor know how to let go. However, through this meditation method I learnt how to truly let go of the worries and thoughts and to me that is true relief.
Now, there is a huge difference between the me before and the me now. Before, I needed so many things in life to be happy. I needed my hobby and I needed to have certain people in my life. I thought I needed a lot of things. Now I have no worries about the future so with this mind I can just live and the universe will take care of things for me. Now I have also learned that when I sincerely care about others more than myself my stress fades away and I now know how to truly contribute to the world. The difference between my life before and after the meditation can be described with one word: Gratitude.
I feel so much gratitude for this meditation, for being able to let go, and for being able to confirm with my mind that I am fundamentally one with everything around me.

Be the change you want to see in the world

I think when I was born I chose 100% heart and zero head. I love people and love to help them. That has been part of my life for a long time and even the success in my career comes from it. However there came a point in my life where I sought for ways to help others but drove myself insane because I could not find a way to help the other. Once, one of my family members was suffering from depression. There was nothing that I could do to help and knowing that I couldn’t help that person brought me to an even deeper depression. However, once I started the meditation, I noticed a change in me. I realized that only I can change myself and only I can help myself. It was no longer about my need to help and improve others but it was more about being an example to the people who require the help. I found a way to show true compassion and love to others by helping myself. Everything I do and want to say in a short version is that ‘live by example and be the chance you want to see in the world.’
When I started the meditation in the U.S., my career grew a lot faster. People were nicknaming me as a “superstar” and I was awarded a title as the ‘Top 5 Person’ within my industry with a promotion of an executive VP. Though my career was successful I realized that my job made me so busy. I knew there were a lot of opportunities for me to grow through the meditation and I knew to gain something I needed to sacrifice something. Thus with a bold decision, I chose to go to Korea to invest in myself and it was not just a gold mine, but a diamond mine. I can see that most people who want to try the meditation are just so busy with their lives, but I wish they take a moment to invest in themselves to find what is that they truly want in their lives. For me, I just love who I am inside right now. The language and food was very different in Korea but it is nothing compared to the depth of the gratitude I have for the method because it has changed my whole entire life. Though the past 4 months of meditation in Korea, I was able get over my traumatic experiences in my past, conquer my phobias, and be free from the health conditions that has been following me all life. Many people tell me that I’ve changed a lot and tell me that I look brighter and younger.
At this point, my heart is full of joy and love and gratitude. So with this gratitude that is inside, I want to give this out to other people now, by being an example.
